How much time do I need to implement your TMI Toolbox? And all you need to implement it is about an hour each week for 5 weeks.
Is there a lot of materials in the TMI Toolbox?Rather than attempt to teach you everything there is to know about time management, I will explain to you just a few uncomplicated methods that will help you accomplish what matters to you the most — to successfully put vital time-management techniques to work in your company and to turn these techniques into positive workplace habits among your staff and employees. That’s why my Time Management Implementation Toolbox is not a massive book. It doesn’t have to be. As a matter of fact, it’s not a book at all! As the name suggests, the TMI Toolbox is a “toolbox.” It sets forth a highly effective method for implementing the most critical time-management techniques in smaller companies and businesses just like yours. It is a toolbox because it gives you all the tools you will need — immediately — so that you can begin to use these techniques as early as the day you receive your kit.
Is time management really such a big deal? The mere fact that you are reading this sets you apart from most business owners. You obviously value time very highly — and that’s as it should be. Time is the most precious resource we have today. Successful people usually have enough money, but they don’t have enough time — and that’s one thing that money can’t buy. No company is exempt from time wasting. One recent study showed that among “knowledge workers” — those who work primarily with information or in developing and using knowledge in the workplace, comprising an estimated 80% of the entire workforce in North America — on average a whopping 28% of workers’ time on the job is wasted because of interruptions. Many studies put the figure closer to 50% of work time wasted. You may not see it, but it is there, as you will soon find out. This basically means that up to half of your payroll budget is squandered due to inefficiency!
Can TMI Toolbox be used for all employees?Let’s make it clear from the start which members of your company should be included in the group that will go through the very first TMI Process. Everyone who does intellectual work needs better time-management skills. That would include department managers, developers, salesmen, marketers, secretaries, and technicians, to name a few. These are the people whom you should include in the TMI Process. But please do not include production workers, delivery personnel, and similar positions.
